About Me

Hi, thanks for dropping by!
My father always jokingly says in dialect that I have "culu di mal'assentu," which literally means that my butt is never sitting still. And honestly, I couldn’t agree more. My incessant globetrotting has always kept me on the move. But it wasn’t always like this.
Growing up in a paradise island like Sardinia, even as a child I knew how lucky I was to call such a beautiful place home. Summers spent splashing in some of the clearest, bluest waters in the world, yet deep down I felt that my path lay beyond the island’s shores. When I left for university, I had a lump in my throat and a gut feeling that I wouldn’t be coming back anytime soon.
My first taste of a bigger world came in 2014 when I spent a semester in Uppsala, Sweden. That experienced completely changed my life: meeting people from every corner of the globe, savoring foods from different cultures, embracing Swedish ways of living (lagom!), and discovering the magic of Lapland - it was like I was reborn. And I never looked back.
Since then, I’ve lived in Canada, New York City, Amsterdam, and now Barcelona is where I call home. Along the way, I’ve traveled through Europe, North America, Africa, and parts of Asia. And soon, my husband and I are about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime: three months backpacking through South America. Can you imagine a better way to spend our honeymoon?!
